Wao!!! do you know you can now send free sms to all networks in Nigeria using your mtn, glo or etisalat line? yes it is true and best of all you do not need any software or tweaks!!! want to send sms and you dont have money on your phone, i mean even if it is zero naira? this is what to do:

MTN:

MTN Collect Call is an innovative service from MTN NIGERIA that allows you make calls to other mtn numbers even when your balance is zero! This will no doubt save the day when you want to make that important call only to find out that your credit balance is insufficient. Also remember that the majority of people are on the mtn network and this only adds to the usefulness of the service. To use the service:

• Dial the prefix *121* before the receiver's number, e.g. *121*08031234567#
• Receiver will get a network notification.
• Receiver pays for the call upon accepting

MTN also has  a service called mtn collect sms that allows you send sms to other mtn suscribers even if your credit balance is zero naira. All you need to do is send your sms to 38701 and add your friend's number. For example, if you want to send a message to 07034554516, simply send the message to 3870107034554516.

HOW IT WORKS: How it works is very simple. once you send the message to 3870107034554516, 07034554516 will receive an sms from 38700 notifying him/her that he/she has a message from you. He is required to reply YES to the sms/notification from 38700. On replying yes to the sms/notification, the normal sms charge normally N5 will be automatically deducted from his account and he will now receive your message same way as if it was sent with credit from your phone. GLO 

GLO  similarly operates a service called Glopay4me. All you need to do is simply type your message and send to1462+glo number. Example, simply type your message and send to 146208051234567 if you want to send a free message to 08051234567.

ETISALAT

ETISALAT operates a very interesting service called receiver pays service. With this service, all you need to do is dial 268 followed by the person's etisalat number you want to call. For example, if you want to call 08093602781 using the receiver pays service, simply dial 26808093602781. The person's phone will ring as usual with an indication that the call is coming from you. Once he answers, he will be told that you are calling him with the receiver pays service. and he should press one(1) to accept or press two(2) to reject. If he presses one(1), he will be charged at normal call rate and the call will go through as usual. If he presses two(2),you will be notified that the call was not accepted. In the last case, neither party will be charged . This works even if your balance is zero naira.
