Welcome to a brand new week.
SUCCESS SECRETS WISHES YOU MORE SUCCESS IN ALL YOU DO!
Today's weekly booster is very familiar yet it is very powerful.

It behooves you to understand the underlying truth behind this simple statement. Your IQ is not a limitation imposed on your achievements. The truth is that your IQ can be developed and improved. No one has a poor IQ just an undeveloped or underdeveloped IQ. It is also important to remember that beyond IQ, there are other measures of intelligence like EQ (emotional intelligence) as well as social intelligence. If we want to stretch this further, we can even begin to talk about things like  musical intelligence(examples include those possessed by musical artistes), artistic intelligence(artists), etc.

So in synopsis, an apparently 'low'  IQ is not a serious impediment to your attainment of success. What is more important is your BELIEVE in your own abilities to succeed which MUST BE BACKED BY ACTION(PRAXIS). Truly, I CAN is more important than IQ.......

THESE WORDS BY HENRY VAN DYKE ARE SO TRUE. READ, UNDERSTAND AND MEMORIZE THEM!



This poem, thoughts are things, was written by Henry Van Dyke and it was used by Bob Proctor and Mary Morrissey to close chapter 2 of their famous program, the eleven forgotten laws entitled: THE LAW OF THINKING.
The law of thinking is a very powerful law and its foundation is the understanding that: AS A MAN THINKETH IN HIS HEART, SO IS HE.
I am not even attempting to comment on the power of our thoughts here because, in reality, it has so much depth. But most importantly, all that we need to know about the power of our thoughts have already been said and all we need to do is to go find them, study them, understand them and apply them in our lives.

The greatest philosophers, leaders, scientists and indeed all great men disagreed on many things except this one fact: that we become what we think about most of the time. That thought is the most powerful force in the universe and that by changing our thoughts, we can change our lives! In fact, there is an acronymn in the process of manifestation called T-F-A-R. This explains that our thoughts cause our feelings, our feelings cause our actions and our actions produce the results that we see in our lives today. Bringing in the principle of cause and effect, our thoughts are the cause in our lives while the conditions, circumstances and environment of our lives are the effects. The implication is that if we want to change our lives(the results) then we need to first change our thoughts. James Allen wrote a classic called AS A MAN THINKETH which discusses the power of our thoughts and this book is one that every human should read. 

While I have many favourite quotes from that book and would find it difficult telling you which I prefer to the others, here is one short quote from the book that I very quickly memorized when I started studying the book: MIND IS THE MASTER POWER THAT MOULDS AND MAKES, AND MAN IS MIND, AND EVER MORE HE TAKES THE TOOL OF THOUGHT, AND SHAPING WHAT HE WILLS, BRINGS FORTH A THOUSAND JOYS, A THOUSAND ILLS. WE THINK IN SECRET AND IT COMES TO PASS. OUR ENVIRONMENT IS BUT OUR LOOKING GLASS.

I never intended writing more than four lines on this, but it just kept flowing. I have to force my self to stop typing at this point. But before I go, let me tell us the greatest secret in all this. We deceive ourselves into thinking that we think. Sounds awkward, but it is true. Our minds are always busy because our five senses are feeding the brain with information at every given point in time. That does not constitute thought. Real thought is FOCUSED thought energy directed towards a particular goal. My former boss will tell me in 2008, "Being busy is not business"

If you have the windows 10 experience, you will know that this is not a trivial issue. Two days ago, I had more than 3.5gb data on my MTN line. I tethered the internet connection from my phone to my windows 10 laptop. I dozed off and in two hours time when I woke up, I saw a message on my phone saying I have exhausted my data and my internet connection has been suspended. To cut the long story short, I found out that my system was running automatic updates and even though my 3.5gb data was exhausted the automatic update was at 86%.

Thanks to GTBANK 737 service, I reloaded my line with N2,000 immediately so that I can continue what I needed to do online. The problem is that Windows 10 does not allow you disable automatic updates for security features. If you are using Windows 10 professional, Windows 10 enterprise, or Windows 10 Educational, you can differ feature updates(under advanced options) but even this can only be effective for some months; in other words, you can only buy time because the update must be downloaded whether you like it or not. The windows 10 users with home license must receive both security and feature updates and serve as the guinea pig for those who have the ability to defer receiving feature updates.

Exact Step to Stop Windows 10 Automatic Updates From Consuming your Mobile Data

Whether you are a home user, a professional user, an enterprise user, or an educational user, this trick will work for you. What we need to do, is to go to our settings and set the wifi network we connected to as a metered connection. Once that is done, the system sees the network as having limited data allocation and therefore will not use it for download of any updates.
The exact steps for setting your wifi internet connection as a metered connection on your PC thereby stopping windows 10 automatic updates from consuming your mobile data are clearly shown in the video below:

  1. Click the start button
  2. Click on  settings
  3.  Click on network and internet
  4. Click on wifi to the left of the settings menu
  5. Click on manage known networks
  6. On the list of wifi networks that appears, select the wifi network you want to make a metered connection
  7. Click on properties
  8. Click on the last radio  button among the three that appears which is set as metered connection. ((In other words, turn the metered connection button to on position)
You have successfully made the connection a metered connection and even if you disconnect from it, the connection will still be recognised as a metered connection anytime you reconnect. In other words, you only need to set a particular connection as a metered connection once even if you frequently connect and disconnect.
