The senior special assistant to the president on job creation and youth empowerment, Mr. Afolabi Imokhuede had a Facebook live chat session on Thursday 5th October 2017 to update all Nigerians on the status of the npower social investment program of the federal government of Nigeria. The senior special assistant addressed issues bordering on the list of successful applicants for the 2017 npower program, all you need to know about npower existing beneficiaries payment issues, npower tablet/device distribution issues and the deployment of successful applicants for the npower non graduate category of 2016.
Some key information provided by Mr. Afolabi Imokhuede during the 5th October live chat are as follows:
YOUR NPOWER DEVICE IS A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT PROPERTY. IF YOU SELL IT, YOU ARE STEALING A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT PROPERTY. (explained in point number 4)
NPOWER TO DISCONTINUE THE DISTRIBUTION OF TECNO DEVICES.
THIS IS WHY YOU ARE RECEIVING AN NPOWER DEVICE DIFFERENT FROM WHAT YOU SELECTED (explained in point number 5).

DEMAND DECEMBER AND JANUARY PAYMENT AND RISK LEAVING THE PROGRAM FOR ALL LAGOS VOLUNTEERS. This is because the lagos volunteers did not work in December and January 2016. Lagos volunteers were only verified in February and start getting payments from February. Besides, many of the Lagos volunteers have not been deployed yet are being paid!
