How to get 1gb data for N50 or 2gb for N100

This post was written as a direct response to Mr Trippledee on my nairaland thread:http://www.nairaland.com/3638084/how-get-6gb-data-1000. I have written on the cheapest and the best data plan in Nigeria which can enable you get a massive 6gb for just N1,000. However, Mr trippledee did not have a glo simcard and therefore needed a similar package that can work on other sim cards or networks. It was that question that gave birth to this post: How to get 1gb data for N50 or 2gb for N1,000

How to get 1gb data for N50 or 2gb for N100 is based on airtel network.  With this method, you can get as much as 10gb of data for just N500. This is the airtel smart trybe 2.0 plan. To begin,

1. Simply dial *312# to get to the airtel smart trybe 2.0 menu as shown in the first image above. Migrate to the smart trybe 2.0 plan by typing '1' then send. If you have already migrated to the smart trybe 2.0 plan, simply proceed to step2
2. Press/type 3 to select  trybe 2.0 night browsing
3. press 1 to select the 500MB for N25 plan valid from 12am to 5am
4. You will be credited with 500MB data valid from 12 midnight to 5am.

NOTE: if you want more data fast, simply use the second option that gives you 1.5gb data at the rate of N200 naira every night.

The data you receive is usable on all devices and the speed is impressive.

HOW TO GET 1GB DATA FOR N50, 2GB FOR N100 OR 10GB FOR N500!

I am well aware that this is the part of the post that you were waiting for......I understand so let us roll....

This is very feasible when you want to download large files. Your most important asset and ally here is patience. All you need to do is to download the file using IDM(internet download manager) or DAP(download acelerator plus premium). If you need registered versions of either DAP or IDM, simply drop your request in the comment box. You will start your file download after making the 500MB subscription using your  IDM or DAP software. The software will automatically pause the download when you exhaust your data subscription for that night. The next night after you do your subscription, you will simply resume the download and it will continue from where you stopped.

PLEASE NOTE: YOU DONT NEED TO STAY AWAKE TO RUN ANY OF THE DOWNLOADS. SIMPLY SUBSCRIBE, RUN YOUR DOWNLOAD USING THE SOFTWARE AND FORGET.

This simply means that for a 1gb file, you will use two nights for the download at N25 x 2=N50. for a 2GB file, you will use four nights for the download meaning N25 x 4 =N100. A 5gb file will be downloaded in 10 days at N25 x 10 = N250. I hope this is very clearly understood now. for any questions, simply drop your questions in the comment box. 

NOTE: If you are using mobile phone or tablet, you can use applications like download accelerator manager by keerby, download accelerator plus by rubycell, or other suitable applications. The first screenshot shows internet download manager, IDM, which by far is my favourite download manager. It actually accelerates your downloads and has so many bells and whistles that will excite you. Below is the screenshot for download accelerator plus premium(DAP). It is another good and common download manager and my second choice.
