We promised that July will be focused on responsibility. Now here is the deal: the weekly energizer for August shall also continue to focus on responsibility. This is to ensure that we are able to dish out more weekly energizers on the subject of responsibility.

NPOWER NTAX Physical verification Commences

NPOWER NTAX Physical verification process Commences to select 7,500 candidates out of 229,245 candidates that applied. The successful 7,500 Npower Tax beneficiaries will be expected to undertake tax promotion, document review, record keeping, tax enquiries response,  customer management, report writing, amongst others, under VAIDS (voluntary assets and income declaration scheme)

According to the statement released by npower this morning, THE DESIGNATED PHYSICAL INTERVIEWS FOR NPOWER TAX, AS REQUIRED BY THE FEDERAL MINISTRY OF FINANCE, WILL COMMENCE IMMEDIATELY AND RUN CONTEMPORANEOUSLY WITH THE ASSESSMENTS. AS SUCH, APPLICANTS WHO HAVE ALREADY WRITTEN THEIR ASSESSMENTS AND PASSED MAY SOON BE INVITED FOR PHYSICAL INTERVIEWS.

Writing the assessment test has been the major challenge for the 2017 Npower applicants. While more than 2.45 million persons have registered for the 2017 Npower programme by mid day of Friday July 14th 2017, the Npower registration was extended by the acting president Prof. Yemi Osinbajo on  same date. Note that the npower application portal was scheduled to close by 11:59PM on Thursday 13th July, 2017. However, because of the extension, the portal did not close.

MORE THAN 23,862 EMPOWER BENEFICIARIES DISQUALIFIED MORE TO FOLLOW: DOWNLOAD EMPOWER LATEST NEWS VIDEO.

More than 23,862 beneficiaries of the federal government Npower programme have been disqualified and are therefore not eligible for payment of their npower stipends. This was made known by the senior special assistant to the president on job creation Mr Afolabi Imoukhuede in a facebook live video broadcast streamed from the official npower facebook page http://www.facebook.com/npowerng at exactly 8:00PM on Wednesday 12^th July, 2017.

As we enter into the second part of the year, it is no doubt that there are many of the goals we set for 2017 which are yet unaccomplished. The fact is that the success rate, in terms of our goals, for each person is sure to be different. While it is common knowledge that several factors affect the attainment of our goals and some of these factors could be unforeseen occurrences, it is important that we allocate the largest share of responsibility to ourselves.

Taking responsibility for our thoughts, our actions, our feelings and every result in our life is an important quality that we must develop. This is the attitude of every great person and as Sir Winston Churchill rightly stated in this quote: responsibility is the price of greatness.....
